Current Openings - September

Welder  1st & 2nd Shift

Under direct supervision, set up and perform any one (1) of the following welding processes to produce bellows capsules using standard materials and metals: TIG ID, TIG OD, or Laser ID.

Work from drawings and other documented work instructions. Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions. Inspect parts using basic measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and leak check equipment.

Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent


CNC Machinist

Under direct supervision, operate CNC machine shop equipment where little or no set-up is required and perform highly-repetitive tasks in accordance with work instructions.


  1. Achieve and maintain appropriate Operator Authorization(s) as required.
  2. Work from basic blueprints, material requests, methods sheets, or other written work instructions.
  3. Perform other various basic secondary operations including deburring and polishing parts.
  4. Inspect complex parts using a wide variety of measuring devices and equipment applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  5. Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions.

Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent.  1-3 years experience.


Senior Customer Service Representative

Coordinate and perform a broad variety of customer support and technical sales-related functions for a wide variety of custom-engineered products. Interact with customers via telephone and/or email to respond to complex inquiries regarding Company products and/or order status. General knowledge of all Company products to respond customer service-related requests.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Initiate, process, and maintain a wide variety of order and customer-related data in the operating system including. Review and acknowledge customer Purchase Orders.
  2. Ensure customer is apprised of order and delivery status and respond to all customer inquiries.
  3. Attend production meetings for order status and proactively apprise customer of changes to the delivery schedule. Serve as primary liaison between Planning and Customer to ensure on-time delivery.
  4. Regularly review customer portals/websites as required for delivery, quality, and other customer-related requirements.
  5. Prepare formal quotes using established pricing guidelines for OTS (off-the-shelf) components with appropriate lead time and serve as back-up for commercial aftermarket airline components.
  6. Process and distribute non-commercial aftermarket repairs and returns.
  7. Review export orders for documentation requirements. Work with Account Managers to ensure proper export classification and assist with preparation of export documentation for shipments when required.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of an Associate’s Degree, along with 3-5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Oracle, or similar order entry module is preferred, but not required.


Utility Machinist


Under direct supervision, set up and operate machine tool equipment such as lathes or milling machines and performs ordinary machining operations involving routine set-ups.


Essential Elements:

  1. Achieve and maintain appropriate Operator Authorization(s) as required.
  2. Work from basic blueprints, material requests, methods sheets, or other written work instructions.
  3. Cut stock for machining
  4. Organize and maintain raw material inventory, both inventoried and non-inventoried.
  5. Prepare and build Job Kits.
  6. Assist Production Leader with a wide variety of department-support tasks.
  7. Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions.




Under minimal supervision, perform a wide variety of complex electrical functions including the installation, maintenance or repair of facilities or production equipment required to sustain daily production activities. Coordination of contractor electrical installations at times is also required.


Essential Elements:

  1. Achieve and maintain appropriate State Licenses.
  2. Troubleshoot and perform a variety of complex corrective maintenance electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical repairs on plant facilities and manufacturing equipment.
  3. Perform regular electrical and electronic preventive maintenance tasks on plant facilities and manufacturing equipment as defined by the SAMB electronic preventive maintenance database.
  4. Perform periodic welding power supply calibrations as directed by the quality control calibration department.
  5. Coordinate any corrective or preventive electrical maintenance repairs normally performed by outside contractors, if necessary.
  6. Complete electronic purchases of supplies necessary to complete maintenance tasks using vendor base set up by purchasing department.
  7. Attend daily meetings at the Maintenance Department’s activity board in order to coordinate timely maintenance response to shop floor issues. Communication with shop floor supervision is a requirement of this activity.
  8. Maintain necessary maintenance records and forward all corrective or preventive maintenance service records to the facilities manager for proper storage.
  9. If necessary, assist with periodic scrap metal pick-ups from manufacturing areas and coordinate transfer and shipment to local scrap metal recycler.
  10. If necessary, assist with clearing and de-icing walkways in winter months in order to provide safe access to facility.


Press Operator


Under general supervision, make standard set up and operate:

One (1) of the following types of presses following standard procedures to produce a variety of bellows components and other metal parts.
§  Hydraulic/small §  Mechanical
§  Hydraulic/medium §  Coiler/Slitter
§  Hydraulic/large
§  Hydraulic/extra-large



Essential Elements:

  1. Achieve and maintain appropriate Operator Authorization(s) as required
  2. Work from blueprints, route sheets, and written instructions.
  3. Make set-up, or obtain assistance with complicated set-ups. Inspect per ES Specifications to ensure parts are in compliance with all quality and dimensional requirements.  Maintain set-up and make minor adjustments when necessary, referring unusual problems or situations to supervisor.
  4. Ensure quality of product through quantitative charting techniques such as statistical process control (SPC) and the use of a variety of precision measuring devices and equipment including contour reader and non-contact measuring system.
  5. Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions, and other required functions.
