HIPRES® Accumulators are deigned to withstand in excess of 125,000 bottoming cycles. The HIPRES® Accumulator provides millions of operating cycles or normal service time in excess of 10 years.

The HIPRES® Accumulator can operate over a wide range of:

Pressure 0 to 8000 psi and above
  0 to 550 bar
Temperature Below -100°F and above 450°F
  Below -73°C to 232°C
Fluid Service Compatible with all hydraulic fluids

THE HIPRES® ADVANTAGE
  • Completely maintenance and service free
  • Never requires recharging
  • Operation at temperature extremes, impervious to cold soak conditions
  • Locate anywhere on aircraft; does not have to be accessible
  • Charging lines and valves can be eliminated
  • Compatible with all hydraulic fluids
  • Lower total life cycle costs
  • Reduced inventory and reduced direct operating costs
  • Elimination of unscheduled repair/replacement of accumulators
  • Qualified to ARP 4378
  • Exceeds qualification testing requirements of MIL-A-8897
  • Sizes 10 cubic inches to 400 cubic inches and larger

 ITEM   Benefit Utilizing HIPRES®

Elimination of all routine maintenance and servicing of accumulators.

HIPRES® are factory pre-charged and sealed to mass spectrometer leak rate levels with essentially no leakage of the charge gas in ten years. This feature means that HIPRES® never require re-charging, servicing, or overhaul.

Reduced Accumulator Inventory

HIPRES® can provide millions of operating cycles of normal service time in excess of 20 years. With this kind of reliability, fewer accumulators are required to support the aircraft fleet.

Reduced Weight

HIPRES® proven reliability has allowed applications to be located in non-accessible areas of the aircraft. This feature has allowed OEM's to reduce aircraft weight with the elimination of charging lines, valves and access panels.

Elimination of Flight Delays and Cancellations due to Accumulator Failures

HIPRES® are hermetically sealed, this eliminates leak paths and loss of pre-charge which contribute to flight delays and cancellations. This also leads to increased dispatch reliability.

Accumulator Repairs and Overhauls are eliminated

HIPRES® are hermetically sealed and do not contain any elastomeric seals. The all stainless steel construction eliminates components requiring replacement.  Therefore this eliminates the need for repairs or overhauls making HIPRES® 100% maintenance free.

Reduced Hydraulic System Maintenance

HIPRES®, with their hermetically sealed configuration contributes to reduced maintenance and the elimination of hydraulic system contamination.
