Founded in 1955, Senior Aerospace Metal Bellows was built around a breakthrough process that produced the first welded metal bellows. Initially used primarily for aircraft engine controls, welded metal bellows demonstrated superior cycle life performance. In 1977 development began on a bellows accumulator. This new configuration of bellows evolved into our proprietary HIPRES^® bellows maintenance free accumulator.

There are now thousands of HIPRES^® flying thereby clearly demonstrating the original concept of maintenance and service free accumulators.
